Privacy Policy

GoHike is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal details. Due to the nature of this website, many details you enter may become publicly available. For more information, please view our privacy policy. Acceptance of these Terms & Conditions implies acceptance of our privacy policy.

Customers are to immediately report to GoHike, via the Contact Page, if they believe there has been a breach of their privacy.

Security Policy

GoHike does not collect your credit card details. Any payments are processed directly by PayPal, a third party payment processing service. Your connection to PayPal should use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, and all connections with PayPal are completed under the PayPal Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

GoHike will take all reasonable steps to prevent external parties gaining access to your private data but no guarantees are or can be made as to the security of your personal information.

Content Licensing

All user-submitted route details and GPS tracks are released under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported. Please see the Creative Commons webpage for more information, however in summary you may share or copy the route details, adapt the route details to your own needs, and use the route details for commercial purposes. However, all use of the GoHike route content must acknowledge GoHike as the source of the information and include a link to the GoHike webpage. Note that route reviews, photos, attached links, and other user-provided information is not covered under this license, and is owned by the user who submitted them. All submissions are made by users who agree that they are only submitting content to which they own the copyright.

All other elements of the GoHike webpage, including (but not limited to) the page design and layout, non-route text copy, feedback pages, and other elements are owned by Jutda and all rights are reserved.
